Case of Tobacco

Case, or order, is a terminology that describes the moisture and corresponding pliability characteristics of leaf tobacco. The most fundamental qualifiers of case are high and low, as in high case (high moisture and pliability) and low case (low moisture and pliability), and also in and out, as in in case (within the desired moisture and pliability parameter) and out of case (without the desired moisture and pliability parameter). The case of tobacco is important to assess and if necessary to modify, which can be achieved variously, as to facilitate manufacturing, storage, and transportation operations.
