John Hardham the London Tobacconist

John Hardham (d. 1772) was a London tobacconist and snuff blender who operated from Fleet Street under the sign of the Red Lion. Hardham’s Thirty-Seven was a sort of snuff tobacco that was named for him. See also Sorts of Snuff Tobacco Reference: Hardham’s Thirty-Seven.
